Powerful conversations and ideas can come from working with our peers. Lots of my development continues to be work with my peers.
Part of my personal professional development has been immersing myself into the school community. I love the opportunity to learn more about how different classes are run, this sharing of ideas fosters professional development. I appreciate the school atmosphere, it's so important for me, personally as well as professionally to connect with other teachers, and allow them to share their gifts and talents with me.
Throughout my educational career, both as a student, and as a teacher, I have taken every opportunity to grow as a person. I believe that as a teacher I need to be a lifelong learner.
Sharing gifts and talents with fellow teachers is a great way to develop as a young teacher. I try to share my ideas with other teachers, and also get ideas from my peers. Through this I have had the privilege of experiencing a range of lesson types, and ideas.
