Practice the Faith
Serving as a Eucharistic Minister
Father Kevin with St. Francis staff at our January 30th PD day, speaking to staff about the Eucharist, as well as going through protocols to enable us to serve the Eucharist for future school mass, as well as mass at our own parishes. Father Kevin's stories about his experiences serving the Eucharist painted quite the picture.
My Faith
I find this quote inspirational and encouraging. It reminds me of the unmistakable feeling of having to push yourself into the unknown. Doing something you know you have to do, even though you know it will be hard. This quote reminds me that I am not alone, and I will always have strength and support.
For me, this sums up my faith in just a few words. Reminding me to keep God in my everyday life and to do what I know is right, and what is called for me to do, the rest will be put into place.

For my overactive mind I have always found mass a very calming and enlightening experience. This is a time for me to be present with God and in the community. The sense of belonging and welcoming is unmistakable and something that I always look forward to. Growing up it was a great feeling to know that there was no where else I needed to be, I was where I belonged. Mass has always been refreshing and motivating for me. It is as though I am charged up, a workout for the soul as I have called it.

District Yoga Classes
For a number of weeks Holy Spirit staff were invited to yoga sessions help by Kira Lawrence at Catholic Central High School. All proceeds of these classes went to Santa's Anonymous fund raiser.
It was a great experience to share with peers, I would love more district activities like this one!
FNMI Orientation
More time with peers to share our gifts and ideas, Jen Hay and I made Medicine Wheel's and discussed numerous strategies of inclusion for our classrooms. This orientation was informative as well as thought provoking. It was a great reminder of how much influence we have over our students!
We also received dream catcher's to take home! |
